On January 21, 2007, a new event called Keila Moha Chun “Adult People’s Sport” organized by Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport under the theme Sport for All celebrated its opening party at Olympic National Stadium presided over by MoE’s state secretary H.E. Bun Sok.
The purpose of establishment of the event is to enable and promote health, amity, solidarity and entertainment of adult people. The process of matching was started from January 21, 2007 to May 20, 2007.
There are 29 soccer teams of NGOs, private companies and other state institutions in which was divided into 7 groups. The soccer team of Students’ Movement for Democracy names SMD United was in Group F.
SMD United team played with other 3 teams and got result below:
-Feb 10, 2007: Played with Indra F.C team, lost 0:2.
-Mar 08, 2007: Played with Samneang Meas team, lost 3:8.
-Mar 25, 2007: Played with Phnom Penh United team, lost 2:3.
However, the result SMD United got is not so good, it’s also first experience toward the best one in next occasion and strongly hopes that it will become one of teams in Khmer Premier League.
